Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy covers athlete, parent/guardian, and organization (institute) accounts, and visitors who use our websites. The GoPlai app is designed for users aged 11 and older. GoPlai is not listed in the Kids Category on the App Store.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following categories of information:

• Account and profile data: name, email address, phone number and country code, password or third-party sign-in details, profile photo, bio, favourite sports, country/city, and profile visibility settings.
• Age and guardian data: date of birth / age, and guardian email and relationship type when required or provided for account approval or participation.
• Body Match measurements and media: height, weight, foot length, derived body measurements, and front, side, hand, and/or foot photos or media you upload or capture for assessment. These photos are stored with your measurement record after analysis so you can review history and results.
• User-generated content (UGC): posts, comments, reactions, follows, and images or videos you share in Community, plus content reports and block actions.
• Tryouts and registrations: tryout applications, eligibility details, parental-consent status when required by an organization, drill video or media uploads, and payment status when set by the offering organization.
• Precise location: when you enable prayer-time or other location-dependent features and grant permission in the operating system.
• Device and push identifiers: device push tokens (such as FCM/APNs), and installation or device identifiers needed to deliver notifications and operate the app securely.
• Diagnostics and usage data: crash logs, performance logs, usage events, approximate IP address, and device/OS type needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

3. How we collect information

• Directly from you through forms, registration, profile setup, content creation, and media uploads.
• Through device permissions: camera, photo library, and location when you enable features that need them.
• Through Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In when you choose those options.
• Automatically through our APIs, logs, and push-notification services while you use the app.
• From guardians or organizations when they link your account, review submissions, or approve participation under the Service’s rules.

4. How we use information

• Create, authenticate, and operate accounts, including guardian approval for ages 11–13.
• Provide Body Match: process photos and measurements, generate sport recommendations and reports, and show history and results.
• Operate Community, tryouts, organization profiles, notifications, and customer support.
• Safety and moderation: content reports, blocking, youth safeguards, and investigating abuse.
• Security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and service improvement.
• Calculate prayer times when you enable location for that feature.

We do not sell personal information of children as that term is commonly understood in youth privacy laws. Body Match results are estimates and are not medical diagnosis or medical advice.

5. Body Match photos and retention

When you complete a Body Match assessment, measurement photos are uploaded to our secure servers and stored with your measurement record. We retain those photos and related results until you delete your account or the relevant records, until we no longer need them to operate the Service, or as required by law. Keeping the photos allows history, result review, account support, and assessment quality. Photos are processed securely during analysis; they are not automatically deleted after analysis.

6. Sharing and third parties

We may share information with service providers that process data on our behalf and are required to protect it in a manner consistent with this policy, including for example:

• Hosting, storage, databases, and content delivery.
• Apple and Google for sign-in when you use those services.
• Firebase / Apple push services to deliver notifications.
• Analysis or machine-learning providers that process Body Match measurements or tryout drill videos when those features are used.
• Organizations whose tryouts you apply to or follow, as needed to administer that tryout.
• Linked guardians for a minor account under our consent and safety rules.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users, GoPlai, or the public. We do not share your data with advertising networks for cross-app tracking for advertising in this product.

7. Retention periods

• Account and profile data: for the life of the account, then deleted or de-identified after account deletion unless legal retention is required.
• Body Match photos and measurements: with the measurement record until deletion or until operational/legal need ends.
• Community content and tryout media: while the content and account remain active, or until deleted/moderated, with limited retention for backups, disputes, or security.
• Logs and diagnostics: for limited periods needed for security, operations, and troubleshooting.

8. Minors and guardian consent

• Minimum age to create an athlete account: 11.
• Ages 11–13: a guardian email for an existing GoPlai guardian account is required, and the athlete account stays pending until the guardian approves.
• Ages 14–17: the athlete may create an account without mandatory guardian approval; linking a guardian is optional.
• Parent/guardian accounts: 18 and older.

9. Your choices and account deletion

• In the app: Settings → Privacy Policy opens this page.
• In-app account deletion: Settings → Delete account for athlete/parent and organization accounts. This deletes the account and related data we are not legally required to keep (such as profile, activity, and files where applicable).
• You can withdraw camera, photos, location, and notification permissions in your operating-system settings. Some features may stop working.
• For privacy requests, consent withdrawal, or questions: tech@incoded.ai.

10. Security

We apply reasonable safeguards to protect information in transit and at rest. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect product, legal, or practice changes. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after an update means you have had the chance to review the revised policy.
